Who Wears Short Shorts?
Question: Should women 60+ wear shorts or short skirts, even if they have good legs?
Answer: Why the hell not? Especially if they have good legs! I've seen 60-year-olds with shapelier legs than some 20-year-olds. Has anyone seen Christie Brinkley recently, by the way? Holy smokes.
There is no hard and fast rule here. It just depends on what you've got and what you want others to see of it.
Generally, the older you get, the more coverage you'll want above the knee. This means that shorts graduate to peddle pushers and skirt hemlines inch downward. Tights and pantyhose are helpful enhancers when you'd like to go shorter—true whether you're 30 or 90.
The thing to avoid, no matter what your age, is exposing bulgy veins or discolorations. Attractiveness aside, they're painful looking. No one wants the sight of their legs to set off others' pain sensors.
